Dr. Solmer attended college at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and received a BA in mathematics. He then went to medical school and received his MD from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, followed by a surgical internship at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in General Surgery at California Hospital Medical Center in Los Angeles, and then went back to eastern Pennsylvania to do his Plastic Surgery residency at Allentown Affiliated Hospitals in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Since completing his training, he has been in the private practice of plastic surgery in the Newport Beach area. Dr. Solmer is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He specializes in breast enlargement, facial rejuvenation, liposuction and abdominoplasty.
